Mathematics Tutorials
For most children (and adults!) Mathematics can be a 'prime' area of the curriculum that does not inspire confidence.
Our single, most important message we can give is for children to know their number bonds (EYFS/KS1) and their timestables and division facts (KS1/KS2) off by heart, so please make sure your child is using TTRockStars on a daily basis.
Also, we often hear parents and/or guardians saying "This method is different to how we were shown to do it" and, of course, this is quite right. And to this end, we have put together a series of video tutorials to help pupils and parents.
Firstly, click HERE for a dictionary to bust all of the Maths jargon we teachers use on a daily basis (yes, even on the weekends!)
Below we have organised teaching clips in to year groups.
Feel free to use/select a video from another year group.
